Skrivanek was amongst the first translation firms in Central and Eastern Europe to implement fully the ISO 9001:2001 quality assurance system, within our industry as a whole its estimated that fewer than 5% of firms take this serious step to ensure consistent quality of translations.
Skrivanek was awarded its certification in May 2002 from the TUV Suddeutschland Holding (Munich). In October 2007 Skrivanek changed the certification body and the audit by TÜV NORD Czech proved the requirements of EN ISO 9001:2000 have been met.
The ISO 9001:2001 by its very design drives constant improvement in the quality of the service provision; it creates the need to constantly measure and improve internal processes. Continual improvement is one of the essential goals of quality.
Embodied in the standard is the importance of customer focus, leadership, involvement of people in quality control at all levels, , continual improvement and positively managing supplier relationships.
Our entire process is therefore designed to deliver a service that meets and surpasses customer expectations on a consistent basis.
